Dr Alexandra Pearce has had a long association with horses, competing in equestrian sports, particularly dressage, and has bred a number of warmbloods for both dressage and showjumping.
She also has experience in the harness racing industry, from time to time assisting her sister with the training of standardbred racehorses.
Alex obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Melbourne and worked in both mixed and equine practice in Victoria.
After working as an Intern in Equine Medicine and Surgery at the Equine Centre in Werribee, Alex completed a Master of Philosophy in orthopaedic implant research at Cardiff University, UK.
Alex has a special focus on equine reproduction and internal medicine.
